Still making stuff.

Photobucket
I did some major etsying today. I am addicted to etsy. The forums, the chats, the labs, etc.
What new items should I make? I am making skirts at the moment, bows, some tops.

Back Again!

Photobucket
Have not posted in awhile, and for that I am sorry. =[

I have many hopes for the 2009 year.
I plan on releasing at least three complete collections.
Men and women.

My Trash Victorian shirt should be in the February/March issue of BUST Magazine!
How exciting.

I plan to blog at least three times a week.
A new year's resolution. ;]

Featured Seller: Tennekka

Tennekka from Etsy primarily sells handmade wool felt buttons and thrift fabric buttons.
I ordered her "Dottie Doolotts" and they are truly adorable. I plan on using them for purses and such.

I am also really digging these wool felt buttons.

She is a wonderful member of the Etsy community. She creates PIF listings or "Pay it Forward" which is the cost of shipping and the listing fee!
All that is asked in return is to commit good deeds and/or create a PIF of your own.
She also has created a blog dedicated to bringing the spotlight on newbie sellers in the Etsy community.
It is www.etsynewbie.blogspot.com -- wEtsy Behind The Ears
Check it out if you want to keep up with the fresh new talent on Etsy.

She is a dynamite seller with great customer service, fast shipping, and awesome goods. ;]

Men's Victorian Trash Shirt

So this is one of my latest works "Victorian Trash". This is really a piece that I have put my whole heart and soul into this particular piece. If I had to define my shop, I would show you this picture.
It is available at my etsy shop FallenSheep.etsy.com!
I will give you 10% off if you put this coupon code in note to seller upon checkout, "Teatime?".

So please comment on this shirt at least. I plan on making more soon. =]
Of course they will be very different.

This is also my current stock in my shop, not much due to my not having a camera.

Starting out

So I am starting my own business/shop. My name is Amber and I am 18 years old.
The main things I will be selling will be tops, skirts, hair bows, leg warmers, arm warmers, masks, and plushies. The style of these items would probably be described as alternative,decora-esque, kandi, etc.
Mostly everything will be made from thrift fabric. Basically, I will take old clothes, etc. rip them up and make unique items from the fabric.
It helps the landfills not be filled up with clothes.
I believe the message of DIY and buying handmade should be far and wide.
Buy an item that no one else has, or very few people have.
Buy an item made with some heart and soul put in it.
Buy an item you know has not been made by little kids slaving away in a factory.

I am still setting up my shop and making items for my grand opening which will be in mid-August.
